A few weeks back we opened up the discussion on whether it makes a difference raising your children to be multilingual. No matter what side of the fence you’re on, there are definite benefits to this. According to Christina Bosemark, founder of the Multilingual Children’s Association, and mother of two trilingual daughters, co-founder of the Scandinavian immersion school in San Francisco, multilingual children have been proven to develop exceptional language and writing skills later in life. They also have better overall social, analytical and academic skills than children who haven’t been raised as such. It’s worked for Madonna and Antonio Banderas, couldn’t hurt to try, right?
