With the announcement of the film screening lineup for the [Sundance Film Festival](http://www.halogenguides.com/travel/guide/attending-top-film-festivals)—it looks to be a collection of tear-jerkers according to the [New York Times](http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/04/movies/04sund.html?ref=todayspaper)—we realized that if we didn’t register for festival tickets soon, we’d really have something to cry about. Sundance runs a registration lottery for individual tickets (bigger packages go from $325 to $3,000). You’ll need to sign up on the festival’s [Website](http://festival.sundance.org/2009/) before the afternoon of December 17 for a chance to buy. If you’re lucky, you’ll receive an email on December 23 with a date and time to purchase individual tickets, your pass to join 50,000 other film junkies in Park City starting Jan 15.
